Marjorie Selje, 104, a resident of the Golden Living Center in Randolph passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 7, 2017.
Marjorie was born the daughter of Rudolph and Alma (Franz) Andler on November 8, 1912 in the township of Hampden. She was married to Ivan Selje on November 28, 1931. Marjorie was a lifelong member of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Columbus. Marjorie was a very hard working, thoughtful, loving person. She was proud being a crossing guard in Columbus for many years enjoying the children.
Marjorie is survived by her brothers: George Andler and Robert (Charlene) Andler; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ivan; her daughter, Dorothy Ann; sisters: Lucile Westphal, Evelyn Sekel, and Phyllis Allsage; and her brothers: Otto and Russell Andler.
A graveside funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Hillside Cemetery in Columbus. The Rev. Tim Schwartz will officiate.
Marjorie's family would like to thank the entire staff of the Golden Living Center in Randolph for their devoted care and love given throughout the years.
