Obituary

Mae Rose K. Pusch, age 93 of Woodland passed away on Saturday, September 17 at Clearview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Juneau.

Funeral services for Mae Rose will be held on Wednesday, September 21 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Woodland at 6 p.m. with the Rev. Daniel Babinec officiating. A visitation for Mae Rose will be held on Wednesday, September 21 from 4 until 6 p.m. at the church in Woodland. Burial will take place at St. John Cemetery in Woodland.

Mae Rose was born on May 17, 1923 to Leslie and Hilda (Zwieg) Wheeler. She was a 1941 graduate of Mayville High School. Mae Rose was united in marriage to Howard Pusch on May 31, 1947 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Mayville. She had worked as a postal employee. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Woodland and was active in the Ladies Aid. Mae Rose was also a member of the Mayville Senior Center. In her spare time Mae Rose enjoyed playing cards, bowling, and golf. She also liked to travel. Family was very importation to Mae Rose as well and enjoyed the time spent with them and especially going to her grandchildren's sporting events.

Mae Rose was survived by her daughters- Karen (Ronald) Dahm of Horicon and June (Roger) Lindloff of Praire du Sac. Her grandchildren- Brenda (Paul Lehman) Dahm of Fond du Lac, Gina (Neil) Schoenherr of Columbus, Carla (Glenn) Koerner of Burnett, and Erica (Robert Berger) Fairbrother of Slinger. Her 4 great grandchildren- Dustin, Holly, Jack, and John. 2 step grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren. Further survived by other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Howard, sister and brother in law Ralph (Joyce) Baertschy and her nephew Karl.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church in Woodland or the charity of one's choice.

Special thanks to the doctor's and staff of Clearview in Juneau for all of their wonderful care and support shown to Mae Rose.
