Irvin Lincoln Winter, 75, of Iron Ridge, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the Beaver Dam Community Hospital.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, July 26, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Horicon. A visitation will also take place on Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Father Thomas Lijewski officiating. Burial will follow at Oakhill Cemetery in Horicon, with military honors conducted by the Horicon American Legion Post #157.

Irvin was born February 12, 1942 to William and Laura (Schultz) Winter in Horicon. He was a graduate of Horicon High School. On October 24, 1964 Irvin was united in marriage with Evelyn M. Guenterberg at St. Malachy Catholic Church in Horicon. Irvin worked and retired from John Deere in Horicon and was employed by the Horicon School District for 15 years.

Irvin was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Parish in Horicon. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving in Germany, and was a member of the Horicon American Legion. Irvin also enjoyed doing yardwork, tending flowers, woodworking, and hunting.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn of Iron Ridge; daughter, Jessica (Chad) Kielpikowski of Green Bay; 2 granddaughters, Evelyn and Kennedy; 2 sisters, Mary (Gene) Wiese of Theresa, Judy (Roger) Bader of Beaver Dam, and other relatives and friends.

Irvin was preceded in death by his parents, infant son Christopher, infant granddaughter Madison, 3 sisters; Geraldine, Shirley, Barbara, 5 brothers; William Jr., Bruce, Charles, David and Richard.
