Gerald A. Gorr, 84, of Juneau, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2017 at his home.

A visitation for Gerald will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, November 20, 2017 at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Juneau. A funeral service will follow on Monday, November 20, 2017 at 6 p.m. at church with Rev. Paul Schupmann officiating. Burial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens in the Tn. of Trenton.

On March 6, 1933, Gerald was born to Alvin and Lillian (Schwartzkoff) Gorr. He was united in marriage with Donna Zimmerman on June 16, 1956 at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Juneau. Gerald owned and operated Gorr Sanitation in Juneau, and retired from the city of Juneau as the public utility supervisor.

Gerald was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Juneau. He was a veteran of the US Army and served in Korea. Gerald was a member Juneau American Legion Post #15. For 42 years he was a member of the Juneau Fire Department.

He is survived by his children; Cindy Gorr of Juneau, Loren "Butch" (Dawn) Gorr of Beaver Dam, Brian "Penee" (Jeanette) Gorr of Beaver Dam, Susan (Bob) Waller of Oxford, Todd (Deb) Gorr of Monroe, Beth (Steve) Bennett of North Fond du Lac, Jennifer (Andy) Linendoll of Lake Geneva, 1 sister; Eva (Donald) Sadowski of Randolph, in-laws; Joyce Gorr of Randolph, Darrel Schroeder of Waupun, grandchildren; Jon (Rachel) Gorr, Brandon (Kim) Gorr, Kari Gorr, Kayla (Levi) Laitinen, Julie (Jeremy) Connors, Trevor (Allison) Gorr, Traiten Gorr, Amy Linendoll, 2 step grandchildren; Becky Waller, Robbie Waller, great-grandchildren; Payton, Teal, Reed, Camren, step great-grandchildren; Morgan, Michael, Jordan, Mariah. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Donna in 2010, grandson Troy, great-grandson Jacob, 2 sisters; Jane and Jackie, 2 brothers; Dick and Michael.

If desired, memorials may be directed to St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Juneau, or Juneau Fire Department.
