Frank Butts Jr., 79, of Beaver Dam passed away on Friday, November 15, 2019 at his home.

Frank was born the son of Frank and Anna (Stadler) Butts Sr. on July 24, 1940 in Birnamwood, WI. He was a 1959 graduate of Waupun High School. Frank was employed with Maysteel for 43 years retiring in 2005. He was married to Betty A. Uhlman on November 1, 1985 at Pella Lutheran Church in Waupun.

Frank was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam where he served as an usher and was a member of the Men's Club. He enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting and fishing as well as watching sports on television.

Frank is survived by his wife of 34 years, Betty of Beaver Dam; his children: Marsha Pfeffer, Michelle (Bruce) Franke, and Melissa Butts; his step-children: Diane (Perry) Welch, Allen Woock, Deborah (Randy) Schwark, and Linda (Thomas) Diels; five grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; two step-great grandchildren; one step-great great grandchild; step-nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Edward; sister-in-law, Darlene Butts; and a nephew in infancy.

A visitation will be held at Peace Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam on Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Rev. Mark Wenzel will officiate. Interment will take place at Highland Memory Gardens, township of Trenton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Peace Lutheran Church or to Hillside Hospice both of Beaver Dam.

Frank's family would like to thank Hillside Hospice in Beaver Dam for all their care and support.
