Condolence & Memory Journal

Where do I start? In friendships with Chuck and Liz and also Steve, Marty, Ken, and Janet, Lans and Barb were close to a second set of parents. Barb introduced our 8th grade science class to the laboratory and the elements in the form of Asimov's "Search for the Elements". This was partly what drew me to chemistry. Intelligence, humor, kindness, and love were and are hallmarks of the Tryon family.

What can I say about the woman with whom I share grandchildren? Barb was kind and loving and selfless. A good example for our grandchildren and her's as well. Barb and I shared many moments of shared stories and laughter. I miss her and will for a long time.

Bob & I always thought highly of Barb. We're glad she had a good long life; but even more glad that she's with her savior and reunited with her husband!
