Walter J. Minnig, Jr., 79, of Beaver Dam (township of Westford) passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at the Columbus Community Hospital surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with melanoma cancer.

Walter is survived by his wife and partner of 38 years, Lolagene; his children: Peter, William (Denise), John (Laura), Penny, and Randy (Tammy) all of Beaver Dam; his step-children: Correna (Terry) Bedker, Tony (Dawn) Kuzniewicz both of Beaver Dam, and Cindy (Jeff Hanson) Kuzniewicz of Richmond, VA; his siblings: Mary Winter of Beaver Dam, Ruth Gassmann of Switzerland, Werner Minnig, Fred (Janet) Minnig, and Bob (Sandy) Minnig all of Beaver Dam; his grandchildren: Dustan (Jennifer), Dylan (Vicki Haase), Abby, Brandon (Morgan Breunig), Derrick (Amanda), Mitchell (fiancée Jessica Boerst), Ava Guenther, Ella and Leo George; step-grandchildren: Matthew (Stephanie) Bedker, Ryan Bedker, Alicia (Rollie Keel) Nelson, Nate Nelson, Chloe and Claire Kuzniewicz; great-grandchildren: Haley, Nora, Leia, Levi and Lennon; step-great grandchildren: Nolan and Isabel; other relatives and friends.

Condolence & Memory Journal
Lolagene... Walt came to my mind shortly before he passed. I thought to myself that I hadn't seen him in a while. I was saddened to see his obituary in the paper only a few days later. I always enjoyed seeing Walt, whether it was at a rural fire meeting, at your house to get his signature, or when our paths would cross at a Friday night fish fry. My deepest sympathy to you and Walt's entire family.
