Condolence & Memory Journal

Hard to hear the news, but praising God that she's at home. Best Kindergarten teacher I could've had. One of her last classes in 2001-02. Thanks, for everything Mrs.Mays! I'll miss seeing her at Beaver Dam Piggly Wiggly. It was great seeing her and Mr.Mays.

I was a student of Mrs. Mays during the 1979-1980 school year. She set a precedence that every teacher after her had to live up to. I have had the opportunity to see her and Willard on several occasions throughout the years and to introduce my children to them. I can only wish that my children had the opportunity to have her as their kindergarten teacher. She will be dearly missed.

I'm so sorry to hear of Mrs. Mays' passing. She was my Kindergarten teacher in the mid-70's. I have worked in schools for almost 20 years and I have never seen a classroom as fun as hers! With the full size slide, reading bathtub and playhouse, who could compete? She has touched many, many lives throughout her journey.

I remember Darlene very well, from my daycare days! She will truly be missed. Very sweet lady!
