Douglas N. Geiger, 58, of rural Columbus passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at his home.

A visitation for Doug will be held on Tuesday, September 11th from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Koepsell-Zeidler Funeral Home, 146 S. Dickason Blvd., Columbus. A funeral will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Father Vince Brewer officiating. Inurnment will be at St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery in Middleton at a later date.

Douglas Neil was born on February 16, 1960 the son of Roger E. and Lois A. (Taylor) Geiger in Beaver Dam. Doug was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in East Bristol. He had been employed for many years with Northwoods Inc. of Wisconsin in Portage.

Doug is survived by his mother Lois A. Geiger of Columbus; his brothers: Craig Geiger of Oregon, WI, Kevin Geiger of Columbus, and Christopher Geiger of Belleville, WI; five nieces: Cierra, Kaylyn, Kelsey, Claire and Christine and great nieces, Melodie and Colette; also other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Roger, his brother Jeffrey and sisters, Lorie and Christine.
